About the authors
Before dedicating themselves to saving the world one dinner party at a time, Brendan Francis Newnam and Rico Gagliano created and hosted The Dinner Party Download — a public radio show and podcast about arts, culture and food that aired on nearly 200 stations nationwide. It was named "Best Food Podcast" by the Academy of Podcasters, won an L.A. Press Club and a National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Award for its interviews, and is currently nominated for "Best Arts & Culture Podcast" in the 2018 Webby Awards. The show has been downloaded over 27 million times.
Rico and Brendan were named two of Food & Wine magazine's "Forty Big Food Thinkers Forty and Under" and have appeared as judges on Top Chef Masters. Their book Brunch is Hell: How To Save The World By Throwing A Dinner Party was published by Little Brown in December 2017. It's available in bookstores everywhere.
